ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Le Loup” captures the silent presence of one of nature’s most symbolic animals.
The wolf is often associated with instinct, freedom and resilience. In this composition, the animal emerges from a nocturnal forest landscape, illuminated by the moon. The scene suggests a quiet moment in the wilderness — a pause where the wolf observes its surroundings with calm intensity.
The background combines cold mineral tones with subtle blue accents, evoking moonlight, winter air and the depth of the forest. The layered textures were applied instinctively, creating atmosphere and depth around the precise stencil composition.
The artwork was created using my double-layer stencil technique. The entire image — including the wolf and the surrounding landscape — was first designed digitally and then meticulously hand-cut before being applied with spray paint and acrylic. The result allows a high level of graphic precision while maintaining the expressive energy of the painted background.
The piece blends wildlife imagery with the visual language of street art, transforming a natural scene into a contemporary and powerful composition.
This is a unique, original artwork. Even if the stencil may reappear in future works, each background remains entirely one of a kind.
