Set of 2 early Art Deco Windows (1910) – Hand-Blown Glass – Salvaged Architectural Elements
In excellent condition – No reserve.
Offered is a beautiful and authentic set of two original Art Deco windows dating from circa 1910. These architectural elements stand out not only for their elegant geometric proportions, but especially for their original hand-blown glass panes—a highly desirable feature among collectors and restorers.
The glass is richly expressive, showing characteristic bubbles, slight waves, and natural impurities formed during the traditional glassblowing process. When viewed through the windows, the glass subtly distorts and softens the scene behind it, creating a warm, almost painterly effect. Light passing through produces a gentle shimmer, enhancing depth and atmosphere—an effect impossible to replicate with modern float glass.
This tactile and visual liveliness gives the windows a unique presence, making them particularly suitable for decorative use in interiors, feature walls, or high-end restoration projects where authenticity matters.
As true salvaged pieces from the early 20th century, they embody the craftsmanship and material quality of the Art Deco period—an era defined by refinement, balance, and emerging modernity.
