Mon travail émane de l’observation de l’être humain et de tout ce qui l’entoure: ses relations avec les autres humains, avec la nature, avec la terre, et avec ce qui ne peut être vu mais profondément ressenti. Depuis ses origines, l’humanité cherche à comprendre sa place dans le monde, en créant des symboles, des croyances et des rituels comme moyens de connexion, de protection et de sens.
La spiritualité apparaît dans mon travail non pas comme une religion définie, mais comme une expérience partagée — un élan intérieur qui transcende les cultures et le temps. C’est un besoin d’appartenance, d’équilibre, de dialogue entre le corps, l’environnement et l’invisible.
À travers l’abstraction géométrique, je construis des paysages intérieurs où les formes agissent comme des signes et des structures symboliques. Ces géométries renvoient simultanément à l’humain et au naturel, au construit et à l’organique, générant tensions et harmonies dans l’espace pictural. La couleur fonctionne comme une énergie vitale, marquant les rythmes, les rencontres et les distances.

Biography:
Miriam CHiera is an Italian-Argentine contemporary artist based in Senigallia, Italy. She studied Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, Argentina, and also studied art at the Verona Academy of Art, Italy.
She was born in a small town in Argentina, surrounded by vast expanses of countryside, to a family of Italian immigrant farmers. Although her roots are steeped in Italian culture, her art carries the spirit of the land where she grew up. Small marks and symbols are scattered across her canvases, interweaving cubism, constructivism and abstract geometry with the essence of her work: the language of color.
Surrounded by the immensity of nature, with infinite horizons and a deep sense of freedom, she found inspiration in large-scale creations. Although she studied Interior Design at the Universidad Nacional del Litoral, her path to painting began in her early years, it was during her residency in the city of Romeo and Juliet, where she studied at the Accademia di Arte in Verona, when she realized that painting was her true calling.
Miriam CHiera's works have been selected to be exhibited in international competitions, galleries, museums and events.

Aujourd’hui elle vit à Senigallia, en Italie, après avoir voyagé dans de nombreuses villes : Milan, Vérone, Ancona, Barcelone, Manchester, Buenos Aires, Rosario et sa ville natale, Ceres. Chaque lieu a laissé son empreinte sur son art, façonnant la vision et l’expression qui traversent son travail.

Artist Statement:
Une œuvre d’art est bien plus qu’un objet à la mode, qu’une tendance passagère ou qu’un élément décoratif conçu pour résoudre une problématique spatiale. Je crée des peintures avec l’espoir qu’elles deviennent une fenêtre par laquelle vous pouvez vous raconter une histoire — où l’art interagit avec votre vie de manière significative.
Chaque pièce porte sa propre empreinte, une âme, une énergie qui la transforme en une présence vivante dans votre espace. Mon aspiration est que mon art vous émane, suscite le désir de le posséder, vous immerge dans son essence et profite de sa compagnie chaque matin en vous tenant devant lui.
