ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Le Faucon” captures the elegance, precision and quiet power of a bird built for speed and control.
Perched and alert, the falcon embodies focus and anticipation — a moment suspended just before movement. Its posture reflects both stillness and readiness, a balance between patience and explosive action.
The composition emphasizes the verticality of the bird, enhancing its presence and giving it a sense of dominance within the frame. The finely detailed plumage, rendered through layered stencil work, creates a striking contrast against the textured background.
The background itself is composed of soft turquoise and mineral tones, applied instinctively to evoke an abstract natural environment. This spontaneous layering brings depth and atmosphere, while allowing the subject to stand out with clarity and intensity.
