Set of 7 Vintage Greek Orthodox Metal Icons/medallions - Lithographs on Tin - 1950-1960
A charming and diverse collection of seven (7) Greek Orthodox religious icons/medallions, crafted using a traditional technique. These pieces are classic examples of mid-20th-century Greek folk religious art.
The set features some of the most beloved saints of the Orthodox tradition, including St. Demetrios, St. Phanourios, Ecce Homo (Jesus with Crown of Thorns), The Holy Trinity, Nativity of Christ, Virgin Mary with Child, and St. Irene Chrysovalantou. The icons vary in size and style, ranging from strict Byzantine-inspired forms to more "Westernized" artistic expressions of the 1950s.

Dimensions: 12,2 x 8,7 cm, 8,5 x 5,5 cm and 7,3 x 5,6 cm.
Authentic vintage condition. The fronts retain vibrant colors, while the reverse sides show natural oxidation and signs of age, adding to their historical character.
