ABOUT THE ARTWORK
With “Muhammad Ali”, I reinterpret one of the most iconic figures of sport and global culture.
I chose a direct and frontal composition to emphasize his presence — a face that carries both strength and determination. Beyond boxing, Muhammad Ali represents confidence, resilience and charisma, making him a timeless figure that resonates far beyond his discipline.
The portrait is built using my hand-cut stencil technique, creating strong contrasts and a powerful visual impact. In contrast, the background is entirely instinctive, composed of vibrant colors and layered textures that enhance the intensity of the piece.
This tension between control and spontaneity defines my work.
Each artwork I create is unique. Even when I revisit iconic figures, the background is never reproduced, making every piece a one-of-a-kind variation.
Portraits of universally recognized figures like Muhammad Ali tend to attract strong attention during auctions due to their immediate impact and cultural significance.
