With this interpretation of Marilyn Monroe, I revisit one of the most iconic faces in modern culture through the lens of contemporary street art.
Rather than simply reproducing a familiar image, I focused on capturing the contrast between glamour and fragility — the duality that defines her enduring presence.
The composition emphasizes expression and light, while the vibrant background introduces movement and intensity. Layers of colors, drips and textures create a raw, almost explosive atmosphere that contrasts with the controlled precision of the stencil.
This tension between chaos and control reflects my artistic approach.
The portrait is executed using my signature double-layer stencil technique, carefully designed and entirely hand-cut before being applied with spray paint and acrylic.
Each background is created instinctively, ensuring that every piece remains unique, even when exploring similar subjects.
