Description fournie par le vendeur
The Climb — Diptych
Mixed media on Canson XL Sand Grain paper — ink and acrylic paint on natural-toned 160g/m² paper, each piece 10 × 15 cm (13 × 18 cm framed). Sold as a pair, framed.
In the first piece, a small figure sits hunched at the edge of a bold cobalt blue sweep — head down, mid-thought or mid-grief, blue marks scattered above like birds or memories taking flight. In the second, another figure scales a ladder reaching into open space, suspended between two horizontal blue bands with nothing above but air and possibility.
Same world, two moments — one of stillness, one of ascent. Together they trace the quiet arc from sitting with something heavy to deciding to climb anyway.
Paintings sold by artist directly
Henryqe MAPS (1994) is a contemporary visual artist working in painting and mixed media. His work combines figurative and abstract elements to explore identity, social structures, and cultural observation through bold compositions featuring humans, animals, and symbolic imagery.
Working primarily with acrylics, chinese ink, drawing, and collage on canvas, MAPS creates psychologically charged paintings characterized by layered textures, graphic elements, and recurring motifs of eyes, hands, and silhouettes.
His culturally conscious practice examines contemporary social dynamics while drawing inspiration from diverse artistic traditions including urban art, modernism, and expressionism.
