Canne de marche - Bois - Ère Édouardienne 1900–1920
Elegant Antique Wooden Walking Cane with Knob Handle and Peg Construction – Edwardian Era – Early 20th Century (circa 1900–1920) – 85 cm
A classic and elegant antique gentleman’s walking cane from the Edwardian era, dating to the early 20th century (circa 1900–1920).
Crafted from solid wood, this cane features a traditional rounded knob (pommel) handle with a beautifully aged surface and rich, warm patina. A particularly attractive detail is the visible wooden peg construction used to secure the handle – a sign of traditional craftsmanship and period construction techniques.
The smooth, tapered shaft displays a deep honey-brown tone with natural grain patterns, giving the piece a refined and understated character typical of early 20th-century canes.
Fitted with a brass ferrule at the base, adding both durability and authenticity.
In good antique condition with clear signs of age and use. The handle shows wear and surface marks consistent with age. The shaft has light wear and patina throughout. Structurally solid and stable (please see photos for details).
A timeless and authentic piece – ideal for collectors of antique walking sticks or as a distinguished decorative accessory.
