A diverse collection of four (4) Orthodox Christian travel icons, representing different traditions and holy sites of the Eastern Church.
-Saint Demetrios of Thessaloniki: A high-quality Russian lithograph from the famous Sofrino workshops. Includes the Saint's hagiography and a prayer (Troparion) in Cyrillic on the reverse.
-The Archangels Michael & Gabriel: A classic Greek-style representation of the Taxiarchs on a gilded background.
-The Annunciation: A vintage-style icon featuring the Holy Church of Panagia Evangelistria of Tinos at the bottom. It has a beautiful "crackle" (craquelé) finish, giving it an antique aesthetic.
-Virgin Mary Pantanassa (The Queen of All): A small devotional icon, originally sourced from the Greek diaspora in Australia (Earlwood).
Excellent condition.
