Pale white and russet nephrite jade pendant gourd and figures -China–21th Century On offer is a good carved white nephrite jade rectangular pendant, with on one side a depiction of 3 boys nearby a gourd with ruyi branches. At the other side 2 Chinese seals with characters. The pendant is semi-translucent and has a white appearance with some small natural russet patches. It is made in the Chinese taste, with nice carved sides and with a top-edge finished in Archaic style. Has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Provenance: This jade comes from inland China. A good jade which might be suitable as an addition to your high-end collection or to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.
