HISTORICAL BILLIARD
History
• Billiard made by Joaquin Cuní, successor of Tarradas billiards around 1920.
• The first destination was the Café de París (Rambla Catalunya 13, Barcelona).
• From there it was acquired by Mr. Francesc Gasull Torrell, in January 1925 for the amount of 1000 pesetas. We have authentic purchase note.
• It was immediately checked by the workshop of the Billiard Tables Factory of José Castellà's Successor (Old Mayol and Poch house) in Barcelona and in April 1925 it was sent to be installed in Can Gasull, Sant Vicenç de Montalt (cost of the inspection and transport 468.50 pesetas). We have an authentic purchase invoice and payment receipt.
• Since then (101 years) it has been preserved in optimal conditions without any additional transport.

Features
• Pitch and width: 230x130 cm (play area 204x105 cm)
• It has a double carom counter.
• 2-piece slate base
• Top lighting lamp.
• Original protection cover
Current owner: Rosa Agulló Gasull (granddaughter of Mr. Francesc Gasull)

Note on Collection: It must be made in the town of Sant Vicenç de Montalt, approximately 40 km north of Barcelona (Spain), easily accessible by highway. We do not know if the billiard table, due to the weight of the slate tiles, can be transported without disassembly. If disassembly is necessary, we can provide an expert to do so (the estimated cost of the expert disassembly is €300-€400, at the buyer's expense). In any case, the materials will need to be loaded (probably requiring at least two people) onto a small truck, to be provided by the buyer. We can offer a limited help in this regard. The billiard table is located at ground level, and there are no steps to reach the collection point.
