Gregor Jenkin Studio - Gregor Jenkin - Table d'appoint - Métal - Acier artisanal

Gregor Jenkin Studio. This piece exemplifies Jenkin’s signature balance between industrial materiality and refined, classical proportions. The table is executed in patinated (blued) steel, featuring a solid steel top with softly rounded corners, a folded steel apron, and finely turned steel legs. The craftsmanship is visible in the hand-finished welds and subtle surface variations, giving the piece a unique character. It stands at 75cm high, and 175cm wide, with a depth of 50cm. Owing to the solid steel material, this piece weighs approx 65kgs. Hand signed (engraved) “Gregor Jenkin Maitland January 2016” on the underside. "Maitland" being Maitland factory, Cape Town, South Africa. Good overall condition with visible signs of use consistent with age and material. The steel surface shows natural patina, light scratches, and some oxidation spots, which are part of the aesthetic of the piece. A sculptural yet functional piece suitable as a console, desk, or display table. Comparable works by Gregor Jenkin are held in private collections and design galleries. Shipping / Collection Collection in the Netherlands is strongly preferred due to the size and weight of the piece. Shipping within Europe can be arranged via a professional art courier (e.g. Yellow Koerier), including collection, careful handling and delivery to your address. Estimated cost is typically between €150–300 depending on the destination. The table will be securely protected for transport; however, buyers are also welcome to arrange their own courier if preferred.
