A very finely lost wax cast and chiseled figure of a seated Guatama Buddha, measuring circa 42cm in height and weighing 4466g, sitting crossed legged in Bumisparsha mudra, his left hand resting on his lap with palm facing upwards, the five fingers of his right hand pointing to the ground in an appeal to the earth goddess Pra Mae Thorani to bear witness to his enlightenment after seven weeks of meditation under the constant torment and distraction by the demon king Mara.
Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs.
This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
