ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Paint Lovers” captures a pure and universal moment: the innocence of creation and the spontaneous expression of emotion.
Two children, absorbed in their own world, paint a heart on a wall — a simple gesture that becomes a powerful symbol of love, connection and authenticity. The scene evokes childhood freedom, where creation is instinctive, unfiltered and deeply sincere.
The dripping heart introduces a raw, urban aesthetic, contrasting with the softness of the figures. It reflects both the fragility and intensity of emotions — love that is being created, but also exposed.
The purple and blue tones create a calm yet emotional atmosphere, almost dreamlike. These colors soften the scene while reinforcing the poetic dimension of the artwork.
As in all my work, there is a dialogue between precision and spontaneity. The figures are meticulously crafted through hand-cut stencil layers, capturing fine details and expressions, while the background is built instinctively with textures and movements, making each piece unique.
This artwork is created using my signature double-layer stencil technique. The stencil is digitally designed, then entirely hand-cut before being painted with spray paint and acrylic. Each background is different, ensuring that every piece remains a one-of-a-kind original.
