ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Dali” is a tribute to one of the most iconic and unconventional figures in art history — a symbol of creativity without limits.
In this piece, I chose a monochromatic blue palette to create a hypnotic and immersive atmosphere. Blue here is not just a color — it evokes depth, introspection, and a dreamlike state, echoing the surreal universe of Salvador Dalí himself.
The portrait captures his unmistakable expression: sharp, intense, almost theatrical. His gaze feels alive, as if questioning reality itself. The composition is intentionally minimal, allowing the face to dominate and create a strong visual impact.
The textured background, built instinctively, contrasts with the precision of the stencil. This tension between control and spontaneity reflects my artistic approach — and resonates with Dalí’s own balance between technique and madness.
This artwork is created using my signature double-layer stencil technique. Each stencil is digitally designed, then entirely hand-cut before being applied with spray paint and acrylic. The background is unique, ensuring that no two pieces are ever identical.
