Description fournie par le vendeur
This painting presents a vibrant, stylized coastal village bathed in warm, surreal light. The composition blends elements of Mediterranean architecture with a dreamlike, almost playful distortion of perspective and color.
In the foreground, two boats float gently on calm, reflective water—one painted in bold red and white, the other in soft blue tones—anchoring the scene with a sense of quiet stillness. A curved stone walkway leads the eye deeper into the composition, guiding us toward a cluster of tall, narrow buildings rendered in striking colors: deep blue, bright yellow, purple, and white. Their elongated forms and simplified windows give them a slightly whimsical, almost storybook quality.
To the left, a large, rounded tree with a glowing green-yellow canopy stands beside smaller houses with warm orange roofs, adding organic contrast to the geometric architecture. In the background, soft blue hills stretch across the horizon, meeting a serene body of water that enhances the painting’s tranquil atmosphere.
Above, the sky is alive with symbolic elements: two radiant suns—one red, one yellow—hover alongside scattered white clouds, creating a surreal, dual-light effect that intensifies the dreamlike mood. The colors throughout are bold yet harmonious, with smooth gradients and clean outlines that suggest a modern, slightly abstract interpretation of a seaside landscape.
Overall, the artwork conveys a sense of calm, warmth, and imagination—inviting the viewer into a peaceful yet fantastical world where reality and abstraction blend seamlessly.
