ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Pegase et Bellerophon” is a powerful reinterpretation of a mythological icon, capturing the moment where man and legend become one.
The composition highlights the dynamic tension between control and freedom: Bellerophon, grounded and determined, contrasts with Pegasus, a symbol of elevation and transcendence. Together, they embody ambition, courage and the pursuit of something greater than oneself.
The vibrant background, blending purples, blues and turquoise tones, creates a dreamlike atmosphere that reinforces the mythical dimension of the scene. This chromatic vibration enhances the sensation of movement and energy, as if the figure could break free from the canvas at any moment.
