ABOUT THE ARTWORK
“Persee et Meduse” captures one of the most iconic and dramatic moments of Greek mythology — the instant where victory, danger and destiny collide.
The composition focuses on Perseus holding the head of Medusa, frozen in a powerful gesture that symbolizes triumph over fear and the unknown. The tension between the two figures creates a striking visual contrast: control versus chaos, hero versus curse, light versus darkness.
The monochromatic blue palette immerses the scene in a cold, almost supernatural atmosphere. It enhances the mythological dimension of the artwork, while giving it a contemporary and minimalist strength. The textured background, created instinctively, evokes movement and energy, like an invisible force surrounding the scene.
The precision of the stencil work highlights the sculptural quality of the figures, inspired by classical art, while the raw and spontaneous background anchors the piece firmly in a modern urban aesthetic.

This piece is created using my signature double-layer stencil technique. Each stencil is digitally designed, then meticulously hand-cut before being painted with spray paint and acrylic, ensuring a unique and unrepeatable result.
