Koji Kasatani (born 1964) is a Japanese artist.
Après avoir obtenu son diplôme d'une école d'art à Florence, Italie,
J'ai étudié les techniques céramiques italiennes.
Après être revenu au Japon, j'ai commencé à me mettre au défi de créer des œuvres qui allaient au-delà des frontières de la céramique.
Lorsque j'ai trouvé des restes de bananes, le favori de mon père, dans la cuisine, j'ai été convaincu que c'était de l'art, et depuis lors je crée des œuvres sur le thème des bananes depuis environ 18 ans.
