A beautiful and authentic French provincial pendulum clock, signed “Dhers à Bedous”, originating from the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region in southwest France and dating to the early 19th century (circa 1800–1830). This elegant piece combines a traditional weight-driven mechanical movement with a richly decorated brass/bronze front, featuring charming putti (cherubs) in a vineyard harvest scene, symbolizing abundance and joy. The white enamel dial with Roman numerals is clearly signed and fitted with finely shaped original hands, adding to the clock’s authenticity and aesthetic appeal.
