Vintage French Convex Owl Mirror & Key Rack - "Œil de Sorcière" - Made in France
A beautiful and highly collectible mid-century French decorative wall mirror in the shape of an ornate owl, featuring a convex bubble glass (historically known as a witch's mirror or "oeil de sorcière").
This iconic piece perfectly embodies the Hollywood Regency and Cabinet of Curiosities aesthetics from the late 1960s to early 1970s.
- Origin: Authentically manufactured in France. Stamped "FABRIQUÉ EN FRANCE" in two separate locations on the reverse side.
- Period: Circa 1960s / 1970s.
- Material: Resin moulé robuste avec une finition texturée très détaillée imitant le bois sculpté ou le bronze patiné. Finition dorée riche avec des accents sombres factices dans les crevasses.
- Functionality: Features a panoramic convex mirror in the center and 4 original small metal hooks integrated into the branch below, designed for holding keys or lightweight decorative items.
- Mounting: Équipé de son support mural métallique intégré robuste et d’origine avec un "keyhole" pour une fixation murale sécurisée.
- Overall Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear consistent with age and use.
