Un magnifique bracelet torque en argent ancien, fait à la main, fabriqué autour du tournant du siècle (env. 1890-1920). Ce bracelet est un exemple éblouissant de savoir-faire pur et illustre un riche patrimoine culturel, fortement reconnaissable comme un bracelet boei traditionnel surinamien. Le bracelet est décoré de motifs géométriques finement gravés à la main le long de la bande et se termine par deux extrémités filigranées magnifiquement travaillées. Comme c’est très courant pour l’artisanat ethnique authentique de cette époque, la pièce est non marquée mais confectionnée en argent de haute qualité.
