Un service à thé élégant et richement décoratif en quatre pièces avec des pinces à sucre assorties, argenté ou argentéé, présenté en très bon état global.

Le lot comprend une théière, une cafetière, une cruche à lait et un sucrier avec des pinces assorties, tous ornés d’un décor gravé élaboré. Le design reflète le goût de la fin de l’époque victorienne, datant de la fin du XIXe siècle, vers les années 1880–1890.

Chaque pièce arbore des gravures florales et feuillagées finement détaillées sur un fond texturé, créant un contraste saisissant entre des surfaces polies et mates. Les corps sont élégamment shaped with scrolling handles and flared, scalloped rims, characteristic of the period. The interiors retain a warm gilt finish.

The teapot bears a presentation engraving reading: “Presented to Mr George Jameson for the best crop of roots grown with Gouldings Manures, 1893, Mosshead, Mauchline.” Mauchline is a town in East Ayrshire, Scotland, and Mosshead likely refers to a local farm or estate, indicating the set was awarded as part of a regional agricultural competition.

Condition: very good antique condition, with light, age-related surface wear and fine scratches consistent with careful use. The silver plating remains well preserved and bright, with no significant loss visible. The engraved decoration is crisp and clear. Interiors are clean with a well-retained gilt finish. No major damage or repairs observed.
