The shoes were presumably worn only once or twice for formal occasions and predominantly indoors. Signs of wear are minimal, with only fine, superficial hairline scratches on the shaft testifying to careful wear. The Shell Cordovan vamps shine in a deep, rich oxblood. The insoles and lining are in very good, well-maintained condition. The lining of the right shoe shows a minimal, purely cosmetic trace of burgundy shoe polish (see picture 11). To prevent any rubbing off onto socks, the area has been treated with leather cleaner as a precaution. Heel / Sole: Top!
