Description fournie par le vendeur

Antique cylindrical pocket lighter, likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, circa 1880–1910. The body is black lacquered and decorated with a hand-applied orange floral bouquet motif. The gilded metal cap features a finely chased laurel wreath border in relief — a decorative style characteristic of the Victorian and Edwardian periods. A second brass component with a flared repousse base ring is present alongside and appears to be a separate accessory or cap piece belonging to the same object.

This style of small cylindrical lighter was widely produced across Europe — particularly in France, Austria, and Germany — from approximately 1880 through the 1920s, often crafted as personal gifts or elegant pocket accessories.

Condition: Patina and tarnish consistent with age. Decorative decal partially worn. Sold as an antique decorative object — functionality not tested.
