Æ (XX-XXI) - BUNDLE – Miles Davis & John Coltrane | Limited Hand-Painted Editions by Æ

AE (Spain b. 1977) – “Miles Davis & John Coltrane – Silent Frequencies” (2026) – Hand-signed, Numbered & CoA BUNDLE!! You are bidding on the complete “Miles Davis & John Coltrane – Silent Frequencies” diptych by AE—two original mixed-media artworks, each individually hand-finished, hand-signed, and numbered from a strictly limited edition of only 10. ◉ Total size: 37 × 44 cm. Two artworks, each 37 × 22 cm. ◉ Original ink-inspired mixed-media artworks by artist AE. Limited edition of only 10 unique hand-finished variations. ◉ Individually hand-finished using spray paint and pastel crayons, then hand-signed and numbered. ◉ Includes a Certificate of Authenticity with holographic security seal. ◉ Printed on museum-quality acid-free Hahnemühle Sumi-e rice paper, traditionally developed for Japanese black-ink painting. ◉ Officially registered artwork with corresponding catalog identification number. This diptych pays tribute to Miles Davis and John Coltrane, two of the most influential and visionary musicians in the history of jazz. Rather than creating conventional portraits, AE reinterprets both legends through the visual language of vintage Japanese editorial design, underground music magazines, distressed offset printing, expressive monochrome photography, and traditional ink illustration. The first artwork presents Miles Davis in an intimate, contemplative portrait defined by silence, intensity, and minimalism. The second reimagines John Coltrane as the cover of an imagined 1990s Japanese jazz magazine, blending bold editorial typography, psychedelic graphic elements, analog printing textures, and experimental visual design. Together the two artworks celebrate one of the most iconic collaborations in modern music, capturing the spirit of innovation, improvisation, and timeless artistic expression. Artist and designer AE holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design and Multimedia Technologies (Barcelona, 2004) and a Bachelor’s Degree in East Asian Studies. His work combines Japanese visual culture, contemporary graphic design, underground publishing aesthetics, vintage printmaking, and iconic figures from music, cinema, and popular culture into highly recognizable mixed-media compositions. AE’s artworks are held in private collections across more than 30 countries, including The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Canada, and the United States. Collectors appreciate the distinctive fusion of Eastern aesthetics, graphic minimalism, and handcrafted finishes that define every edition. Working almost exclusively in black and white, AE creates images built upon powerful contrast, carefully balanced negative space, and tactile print textures. Drawing inspiration from Japanese underground magazines, woodblock prints, editorial typography, vintage jazz photography, and experimental graphic design, his artworks transform celebrated cultural icons into timeless contemporary collectibles. Artist AE has been the subject of a review by respected exhibition curator Thierry Fournier (Artnoises). “Collected AE, it comes down to wanting, breaking, transgressing an invisible border, merging the civilizational DNA of the future and the past… the work becomes a ticket, a simple ‘go!’ for an emotional teleportation… AE pushes you to jump into a void populated with images, symbols and unexplored signs that propel us toward a timeless reality.” — Thierry Fournier (Artnoises) ★★★★★ * All photographs are as accurate as possible. Slight color variations may occur due to monitor calibration and lighting conditions. * Immediate insured shipping after payment. Combined shipping is available when purchasing multiple artworks. * Any framed image shown is for presentation purposes only and is not included. Professional Top Seller. Bid with confidence. Every artwork is carefully packaged and shipped with exceptional attention to protection and presentation. #collectible #milesdavis #johncoltrane #jazz #bebop #modaljazz #bluejazz #musicart #japaneseeditorial #vintagemagazine #mixedmedia #limitededition
