Nikon FTN Appareil photo reflex mono-objectif (SLR)

Nikomat FT2 + Nikkor-H Auto 50mm 1:2 — Fully Mechanical Working 35mm SLR A working Nikomat FT2 black-body 35mm SLR paired with the classic Nikkor-H Auto 50mm f/2 standard lens. The Nikomat / Nikkormat FT2 (1975–1977) is the last of the pre-AI fully mechanical Nikkormat bodies, and a favorite among film shooters for its rugged build and dependable Copal Square focal-plane shutter — the camera works at all shutter speeds without a battery. Including: - Camera body (Nikomat FT2, black) - Nikkor-H Auto 50mm 1:2 lens (already attached) (Battery not included) Appearance: Vintage cosmetic wear consistent with age. Some paint loss / brassing on the edges of the top plate, around the strap lugs, and on the bottom plate (typical for black-painted Nikkormat bodies of this era). Leatherette is intact with no peeling. Lens barrel shows light use marks only — no dents or deep scratches. Function: 35mm SLR film camera with fully mechanical, vertical-travel metal Copal Square focal-plane shutter (B, 1 s – 1/1000 s), TTL CdS center-weighted metering, and Nikon F-mount (pre-AI, with meter-coupling prong). - Shutter release: fires (confirmed) - Shutter speed dial (ring around lens mount): operates, all marked speeds (1 – 1/1000 s, B) settable - Mechanical shutter operation: works without battery (a key feature of the FT2) - Film advance lever, mirror, rewind crank, self-timer, ASA dial, hot shoe, depth-of-field preview: all present and appear to move correctly when operated, but accurate operation has not been fully verified - TTL CdS light meter: not fully tested. Powered by a 1.5 V battery (see below); meter response with a fresh battery has not been confirmed Please consider this as a vintage camera sold in working/partially-untested condition. We recommend the buyer service / CLA the camera for long-term reliable use. Battery note: The Nikomat FT2 uses a single 1.5 V silver-oxide / alkaline button battery (SR44 / LR44 — easily available today). This battery powers ONLY the built-in TTL light meter. The shutter and all main mechanical operations work fully independently of the battery, at all speeds. The battery is not included; please prepare one separately. Optical system (lens): Nikkor-H Auto 50mm 1:2 ("Nippon Kogaku Japan" engraving, pre-AI version), serial 855341, 52 mm filter thread. Optics are clear — no fungus, no haze, no balsam separation, and no major scratches visible. A small amount of dust may be present but does not affect image quality. Aperture blades are clean, aperture ring and focus ring both move smoothly. Shutter / film chamber: Metal Copal Square shutter blades appear clean and free of visible dents. The film chamber and pressure plate are clean overall. Notes: This lens is the pre-AI version with the meter-coupling prong ("rabbit ears"). It mates correctly with the FT2 body shown. For use on modern Nikon AI / digital bodies, an AI conversion may be required. Please refer to the photos for the exact condition and accessories. As this is a vintage camera, occasional servicing (CLA) is recommended for long-term reliable use. Shipping: Japan Post Small Packet with tracking number. Shipping only to the address registered on Catawiki. No shipping to Russia. Delivery to Italy may take longer than usual. Shipping fees to Portugal may be temporarily higher. Import duties, taxes, VAT, and any other charges incurred upon delivery are the responsibility of the buyer and depend on the regulations of the destination country. Please check with your local customs office before bidding. No refund will be issued for customs refusal, VAT refusal, or package refusal. Payment: Item will be shipped within 3 business days after payment is confirmed.
