Vintage "La Nuova Altea Lusso" Manual Pasta Machine – Milano, Italy (1960s)
A beautiful, authentic piece of mid-century Italian kitchen history: a vintage manual pasta machine manufactured by **La Nuova Altea** in Milano, Italy.
This robust machine is a stunning example of mechanical engineering from the 1960s, combining elegant design with practical utility.
The machine is crafted from heavy-duty chrome-plated steel and features a warm brass/amber patina on its base plates, highlighting its age and history.
It is a completely self-contained unit featuring three built-in roller functions (flat rolling for lasagna, wide cutting for fettuccine, and fine cutting for spaghetti) operated by moving the included detachable hand crank into the designated side sockets.
An engraving on the front features the elegant cursive signature *"la nuova altea / MADE IN ITALY"*, while the lower front displays the iconic stamped triangular logo of the Milanese manufacturer with its classic chef caricature.
A true collector's item or a retro centerpiece for a vintage-themed kitchen.
