Rare Yasu Sasamoto vintage Lotus bar stool Yasu Sasamoto designed this stool in the 1970´s and his idea was to place a tractor seat on a stool. The tractor seat has a perfect form to sit on. A sculpture piece of design furniture that deserve a new home. The stool on auction was manufactured by Dulton Co. Ltd. in 2001 and have only had one owner. It is made in chromed steel. The stool have been disassembled and cleaned before getting carefully handpolished and reassembled. It is good condition with natural patina including surface scratches specifically on the seat. There are some spots where there have been surface rust but this have been polished away and protected with the polishing compound. The stool has a fixed seating height of 71 cm. Full height is 73 cm. The base is 38 x 38 cm. Engraved manufacture(Dulton) on the seat. The pictures have been taken in natural day - therefore you can see reflection of light on the stool. The stool will be very carefully packed and shipped insured.
