This set features excellent color variety, presenting six cars in a classic bright green finish, one in sky blue, and one in coral red. These historically significant economy variants represent the material-scarce post-WWII era. To bypass strict metal restrictions, the manufacturer utilized thin stamped metal for the upper bodies but substituted standard tinplate bases with thick, plain pressboard/cardboard chassis plates. The cardboard bottoms are secured entirely via factory-original bent metal tabs. Condition:All 8 cars are in highly authentic, completely original antique condition. The upper painted tinplate shells remain notably vibrant with expected light play wear, minor scuffs, and small paint flakes.
