Description fournie par le vendeur
An exceptional Baccarat crystal decanter (toilet bottle) in Bambou Tors pattern, crafted in luminous orange and red crystal.
The red hue is achieved through the incorporation of gold during the crystal-making process, a sophisticated technique historically employed by Baccarat to create its most vibrant and luxurious colours.
This model is documented in the Baccarat 1903-1904 catalogue and was produced prior to 1936, explaining the absence of a signature, as Baccarat did not systematically mark its crystal pieces before that period.
The piece remains in excellent antique condition, displaying only minor traces of age consistent with more than a century of history, including light limescale residue inside the bottle and a few small nibbles to the stopper.
A remarkable example of early 20th-century French crystal craftsmanship, highly desirable for collectors of Baccarat, Art Nouveau decorative arts, and rare coloured crystal.
Height - 18.5 cm
