Biography | LACRISS
Né à Rome en avril 1990, LACRISS éprouve l’art comme une nécessité instinctive : une réalité qui lui a toujours appartenu. Dès ses années scolaires, le dessin s’impose comme un appel naturel : il se souvient ne jamais sortir de chez lui sans un crayon dans sa poche, tel un talisman.
Quand elle s’ennuyait de la grisaille des bâtiments ou qu’elle était décalée par rapport au rythme d’une conversation, elle le sortait pour dessiner et donner forme à ses pensées, allant même jusqu’à créer des villes imaginaires entières sur les bords des journaux et des serviettes en papier. Ce crayon était son bouclier contre la banalité du monde et la preuve que, tant qu’elle avait une trace à laisser, elle aurait une réalité à habiter. Cette passion absolue s’est aujourd’hui épanouie en une profession définie.
Influencée par la culture urbaine, le Street Art et la photographie, son travail trouve sa place dans la scène artistique contemporaine avec un style visceral et original. LACRISS développe un langage sûr et instinctif sur toile, où des coulures de peinture, des coups de pinceau acryliques audacieux et des couches de bombe aérosol tachent la surface dans un chaos harmonieux. L’usage des techniques mixtes-charbon, crayons, marqueurs et encres-crée des œuvres vibrantes et colorées qui dégagent l’énergie de la rue, tout en conservant une présence monumentale.
