Chinese gold-plated silver bracelet with 5 quatrefoil shaped jades –China- 21th Century
On offer is a very fine bracelet with 5 fine white quatrefoil shaped nephrite jades. The shape is inspired by the four-leaf clover which is believed to bring luck to the wearer. The bracelet is marked as gold-plated 925/1000 silver (please see quality mark 925), both at the end of the bracelet and on the clasp, see photos. The 5 green jade clovers are made of fine greyish white nephrite jade.
The separate stones have been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a natural color. Provenance: This bracelet comes from inland China. a Good quality jewel, very suitable to present as a gift! Please see test results and pictures.
