Villa Styles lamps are made from 90% recycled cotton pulp and 10% binder. Papier-mâché is a lightweight material, which in this case is made by mixing a softened cotton pulp and a binder. The pulp is shaped by hand into decorative lamps, which means that no two lamps are exactly the same. The lamps are then dried and given a protective coating.
