Résumé assisté par IA

Description fournie par le vendeur

Not every journey begins with a suitcase. Some begin with opening a book.

This sculpture is a tribute to curiosity and the limitless power of knowledge. Perched atop a stack of books, the figure gazes through a telescope, reminding us that true vision comes not from our eyes, but from what we learn, imagine, and understand.

The words “I Can See More” are more than a statement—they are a philosophy. Every book broadens our perspective, deepens our understanding, and reveals possibilities that remain invisible to those who never turn the page.

The names of great authors engraved on the back of the sculpture pay homage to the writers whose ideas have expanded generations of minds. Through their stories and insights, they invite us to see beyond the obvious, challenge our assumptions, and discover new worlds.

A meaningful piece for book lovers, teachers, writers, lifelong learners, and anyone who believes that the greatest adventure is the pursuit of knowledge. Because the more we read, the more we truly see.

Dariusz Zielinski was born on 1975. I’ve been engaged in sculpture since 1998. I would call myself a self-taught, though my work has been greatly influenced by an educator and sculptor, Jacek Kozłowski. Meeting him deserves to be called “the moment” of my life.

In my work I attempt at displaying delicacy, fickleness, etherealness, and motion. Hence, perhaps, a number of my sculptures are disproportionably long – as they become apparently light thus, barely reaching the ground. I strive to avoid limiting myself to one manner of shaping the figures. I like experimenting with proportions and seeking for ever different way of deforming the reality.

I think it’s vital for every sculpture to present a story. First, I have a subject and then I find some shape for it. I believe it’s partially connected with the fact that I’m a graduate from the Academy of Special Education.

I co-operate with art galleries in Warsaw, Copenhagen, Bryrup (Denmark) and Arnhem (The Netherlands), Malmo(Sweden).
