Maritime Antiques Vintage Daeyang 90 Degree Brass Bulkhead Light Maritime Antiques Vintage Daeyang 90 Degree Brass Bulkhead Light This handsome brass light angles out from the wall at a perfect right angle so the cylindrical glass globe spreads a soft, even glow that reaches nicely into the room or along a deck. Our vintage daewang brass bulkhead is a genuine mid-1900s piece that brings authentic Korean ship heritage into homes and boats across the UK and Europe. The protective cage and polished brass give it that classic maritime look many people recognise from old cargo vessels. Yes, this angled brass light works brilliantly where space is tight or where you want the illumination to project outward. It feels sturdy, looks smart and adds proper nautical character wherever you mount it. Made from Solid Brass with Classic Daewang Design The entire fitting is crafted from high-quality solid brass that has already spent years at sea. The 90-degree arm gives it a distinctive profile and makes installation easy on any flat surface. At 2.7 kilograms it feels reassuringly heavy and well built – nothing lightweight or flimsy here. These lights were fitted on working cargo ships in the 1950s by the Korean maker Daewang. We salvaged each one and restored it carefully in Sweden. You will notice small natural differences in the brass patina and markings on every light – that is what makes yours truly unique and full of genuine maritime history.
