Set of 3 Vintage Flemish/Dutch Engraved Brass Wall Plaques in Oak Frames (c. 1930-1950s)
A collection of three traditional Flemish wall plaques featuring engraved brass plates mounted in solid oak frames with original hanging chains.
Included in the Lot:
1. Vertical Tribute Plaque "MOEDER"
- Features decorative bronze ribbon ornaments on the oak frame.
- Engraved poem/tribute to Mother.
2. Horizontal Proverb Plaque "De schoonste naam..."
- Text reads: "De schoonste naam op 't wereldrond, Het schoonste woord uit menschenmond is Moeder."
- Engraved brass with red and black accent filling.
3. Horizontal Religious Plaque "Sacred Heart of Jesus" (Met Geluid)
- Depicts the Sacred Heart of Jesus with religious verse: "Geen land, geen stad, Geen enkele woning, Waar Jezus Hart niet heersche als Koning."
- Marked "Met geluid" — features its original mechanical chime/gong mechanism attached to the back of the frame.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with natural patina on the brass and minor age-related wear to the oak frames. All original hanging chains intact.
Will be packed with care and shipped with Track & Trace.
