This elegant piece is believed to have originally served as an inkstand base, designed as part of Baccarat’s refined garniture de bureau. The Bamboo Doors pattern is documented in Baccarat catalogues for desk accessories, making it one of the Maison’s most distinctive decorative designs of the period.
Beyond its original purpose, this beautiful crystal stand can also be used today as a decorative table mat, centrepiece stand or display base, ideal for presenting fine crystal, porcelain, candles or small serving dishes.
The striking spiral design combined with the sculptural bamboo-inspired border creates exceptional brilliance and beautifully showcases Baccarat’s renowned craftsmanship.
