Offered is an original Agfa Movex Reflex 8mm motion picture camera in an exceptionally well-preserved and highly collectible complete outfit. Manufactured in Germany during the golden age of amateur cinematography, this elegant camera represents the renowned German optical and mechanical craftsmanship of the 1960s.
The lot includes the original Agfa carrying case with fitted blue interior, Agfa Movex Reflex camera body, Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon zoom lens, Agfa Movestar lens, original film magazine, lens hood, three original filters, wrist strap, and accompanying accessories as shown in the photographs.
The camera is cosmetically very attractive, with only minor signs of age-related wear. The winding mechanism has been tested and the motor runs when the trigger is pressed. Optics appear clean with no visible cracks or major damage. The original carrying case remains structurally sound and presents well, although it may benefit from gentle cleaning due to age and storage. The camera has not been tested with film and is therefore sold as a collectible vintage item.
