Bac & Perigault Limoges - Service de table pour 12 (14) - Porcelaine

Elegant French porcelain dinner service, decorated with delicate floral garlands and fine gilt accents.
The serving round dish bears the Bac et Périgault backstamp (1897–1917). The footed serving stand bears a faint, heavily worn backstamp. While most of the mark has faded, the remaining visible outline matches the Bac et Périgault Limoges backstamp on the other serving platter, indicating that both pieces are from the same manufacture. The dinner plates are unmarked, which is consistent with some period production. All pieces feature the same original shape and floral decoration.

The service consists of:

12 plates, 24.5 cm
1 large round serving dish, 30.5 cm diameter
1 footed dish, 22 cm diameter x 12 cm h.

Overall in good antique condition with age-related wear to the gilt decoration. A dinner plate with a micro chip on the rim, the serving round dish with some glaze worn off and a chip barely visible. Otherwise, the service presents very well and remains an impressive and decorative antique set.
