Suzuki Violin Co. No.70 Bowl-Back Mandolin with Hard Case
Item Description:
This is a Suzuki No.70 mandolin made by Suzuki Violin Co. in Nagoya, Japan.
It has a classic teardrop-shaped body with a spruce top, decorative rosette and edge inlay, a wooden pickguard, and an ornamental tailpiece cover. The rounded bowl-back is made with narrow ribs, giving the instrument an elegant traditional mandolin profile. The headstock bears the Suzuki logo, and the tuners have cream-colored buttons.
The instrument presents well overall, with attractive wood grain and a polished vintage appearance. There are signs of age and use, including small marks on the bowl back and wear/discoloration on the tuning buttons. A hard case is included. The case shows exterior wear, scratches, aged metal fittings, and a small tear in the outer covering. Please review the photos for the detailed condition.
