Alexandra Slava (b. 1996, Kyiv, Ukraine) is a contemporary figurative sculptor based in Berlin, Germany. She received her early academic training at the State Art School in Kyiv before graduating from The Florence Academy of Art in 2017, where she specialized in sculpture and was awarded the Sculpture of the Year prize.
Working primarily in the tradition of figurative realism, Slava explores the human form through sculpture, combining classical techniques with a contemporary artistic perspective. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) in Barcelona, the Ostrale Biennale in Dresden, the Society of Portrait Sculptors Annual Exhibition in London, and exhibitions in Venice, Rome, Warsaw, and Berlin.
Her distinctions include the 2018 Alpine Fellowship Visual Arts Prize, the 2019 Art Renewal Center Salon Award, and recognition from the MArteLive Biennale. Her sculptures are held in private collections across Europe, Australia, North and South America. Slava is also the founder of the Berlin Sculpture Atelier, where she maintains her studio practice and teaches figurative sculpture.
