Maturation and mastery are at the heart of this release in the collection, an expression of where the science and art of whisky making meet in complementary balance. Inspired by Fresh Coconut, this single malt brings forward a note rarely present in The Macallan. The natural qualities in sherry seasoned American oak and casks that previously held bourbon, alongside the skill of our Whisky Mastery Team, have brought the elusive impression of coconut to the stage.
By name and nature, this release presents poised balance.
Together with the celebrated TimeSpirit Dining Experience at The Macallan Estate, the flavour notes of coconut are highlighted in a fully expressive, smoothly characterful single malt. A natural flavour adventure with TimeSpirit, inspired by a whisky of supremely harmonious character.
This presentation box is crafted using paper that incorporates discarded coconut fibres. Using an emission free combustion process, waste coconut coir and shells are charred to produce charcoal, which imparts a natural black colour to the paper.

WHISKY MAKER'S NOTES
Colour : King Coconut.
Aroma : Fresh coconut, zesty lime, citrus notes of lemon and orange, tropical mango and papaya, layered with vanilla, almond, sweet oak, and a hint of nutmeg and cinnamon.
Palate : Sweet lime, lemon and vanilla sponge with desiccated coconut, icing sugar, coconut milk, sweet oak with dried tropical fruits.
Finish : Bursts of coconut and floral honey. "
