Neuf verres à liqueur antiques français datés d’environ 1900–1910, en cristal/verre avec ornement doré, signés Montcenis & Legras, répartis en trois formes et hauteurs distinctes, en état d’usage normal avec de légères usures de dorure.
Description fournie par le vendeur
Charming collection of nine antique 19th-century shot glasses, distinguished by their elegant miniature proportions, varied forms and delicate gilded decoration.
The collection consists of three different groups. The first features tall, slender conical bowls decorated with finely engraved geometric bands and elongated gilt motifs. The second group presents graceful narrow forms embellished with stylised gilded floral ornaments. The final three glasses have more substantial faceted bowls, short sculptural stems and square pedestal bases, enhanced by fine engraved decoration and gilded rims.
The combination of clear glass, delicate engraving and warm gold details gives the ensemble a particularly refined and decorative appearance. Each group displays its own distinctive character while creating a harmonious collection.
The glasses are presented in excellent antique condition for their age, with normal traces of time and use. Minor wear to the gilding and a few very small micromissing and tiny irregularities along the rims may be present. These signs remain discreet and are consistent with the considerable age and delicate nature of the pieces.
The photographs form an integral part of the description.
A beautiful and unusual collection for admirers of 19th-century glassware, antique shot glasses, miniature tableware or refined decorative objects.
All items will be carefully packed for safe delivery.
