Omega-Chronostop Monopusher Chronograph Ref:145.009 The watch is in very good condition, please see the photos. No flaws. Works perfectly. Starts and resets correctly. Launched in the late 1960s, this model is part of the iconic Omega Chronostop line, aimed at sports enthusiasts who value both style and functionality. Omega's Chronostop is definitely one of those models that was ahead of its time. This beautiful example features a manual winding caliber 865 movement (21600 bph) and 17 jewels "without date" and an impressive gray dial with luminous hands and a 12 o'clock marker, as well as a single-button chronograph function. Solid metal hour markers and an orange second hand. Plexiglass with Omega Logo in the center. Steel case measuring 35mm, no flaws. Screw-down case back. Leather strap in a grey colour, very close to the colour of the dial., made to order. Steel buckle with logo. The Omega Chronostop Monopusher Chronograph Ref:145.009 remains a celebrated piece of Omega history, treasured by vintage watch collectors for its unique approach to chronograph design, the classic 1960s aesthetic and the practicality of its simple yet effective functionality. Omega introduces two new hand-wound movements for its Chronostop collection. Two calibres that are used exclusively in these simple chronographs. The calibres 865 (without date) and 920 (with date) were introduced in 1966 and 1968 respectively. The calibres 860 and 920 were only in production for a period of around 4 years. By 1970, Omega had produced a total of 185,000. units (124 thousand of the 865 model and another 61 thousand of the 920 model. Which automatically makes it a favorite for collecting.
