The dark background gives the brighter forms a luminous intensity. Red and magenta introduce energy and emotional tension, violet creates depth, and electric blue brings rhythm and contrast. Maria Ruisi, born in Latvia in 1983, is a contemporary artist, PhD engineer and founder artist of Abstract Art Gallery.
Her practice combines creative intuition with a research-based understanding of structure, materials and visual perception.
