Official Tasting Notes

Because of its 40-year maturation, the bold peat smoke typical of Highland Park has softened into a delicate, incredibly complex backdrop.

Color: Bright golden amber.

Nose (Aroma): Rich fruitcake packed with raisins, cherries, and a touch of almond. Underneath, you will find layers of burnt brown sugar, maple syrup, waxy furniture polish, and a very faint, elegant hint of earthy peat smoke.

Palate (Taste): Rich, velvety, and powerful. It tastes of dark chocolate, ripe mango, marsepein, and caramelized brown sugar balanced out by warm baking spices like clove and cinnamon.

Finish: Extremely long and smooth, drying out with a mouth-watering aftertaste of rich plums, woody vanillin, and lingering citrus.

In perfect condition
