Oil on wood signed, situated and dated lower right: Schéner Paris 65. Also signed, situated and dated on the back. Dimensions of painting alone: 40 x 58,5 cm, with frame included: 46,5 x 64,5 cm. Condition report: Overall good condition, however the wood panel is slightly warped. Mihály Schéner, was a Kossuth prize-winning Hungarian sculptor, painter, graphic artist, ceramist and puppet designer, born 1923 in Medgyesegyháza and died 2009 in Budapest. He studied at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts from 1942 to 1947, and his teachers were Gyula Rudnay, a painter of the Alföld school, and Jenő Elekffy. Until 1956, he taught drawing at the Rózsa Ferenc High School in Békéscsaba city. Mihály Schéner visited Paris and Stockholm. Delivery via UPS. Careful packaging guaranteed.
