Cette pièce est un club de guerre polynésien sculpté à la main originating from the Samoa Islands. Le pièce features a long, smooth cylindrical handle transitioning into a distinctive, bilateral toothed blade section. It terminates in a pointed triangular head.
This specific design is structurally inspired by the form of a banana leaf, locally known as fa'alaufa'i. Crafted from a dense hardwood (traditionally toawood) the wood displays a warm, rich brown patina with visible grain lines throughout.
Culture/Origin: Samoan, Polynesia, 3th quarter 20th century.

Condition: Good vintage/antique condition with normal signs of age. The wood retains a smooth polished surface. All teeth along the blade profile are intact, some minor chips as pictured normal due age and use.
